Pizza Party!!!

Yesterday was the 19th of July 2007. Relevance, well... it just happened to be the day of my 19th birthday!!

Ah yes, 19.. a year more to go and I would no longer be a teenager. Tsk-tsk... Mah goodness.. I'm growing old. Next year I would be 20 maliban nalang if I would decide to call myself twenteen.

To be totally honest, I though my birthday yesterday would be nothing but a mess 'cause it started with mom's silly morning complaints about some household matters and she and dad totally forgot to greet me before they went to work. It was almost lunch when mom called and said sorry because she forgot to greet me. Dad in the other hand also did the same at around 5 in the afternoon. Inspite of all those my birthday still turned out to be fine, thanks to all the people who greeted me especially to my friends whom I haven't heard from for a very long time and my blockmates at school.

I celebrated my birthday during my block's breaktime at the floor. My mom gave me a thousand pesos so I could treat my friends. My block and I ordered a couple of pizzas in pizza hut and fortunately some staff in the hospital lend us her palm card so the two pizzas we ordered became four! Free pizza for every pizza! PIZZA PARTY! Wee!

I arrived at home from our duty at 12:20 in the morning. I was really tired but was also happy at the same time. The day that I thought that would be a perfect mess turned out to be the perfect day for me to realize how much the care and kind thoughts of my friends and my family really means to me.

Rewarded with a Cap

Yesterday was my batch's capping and pinning ceremony. It was one of the most anticipated events in our school and it was really really tiring. It took us 5 hours before the ceremony was finished and although some people were dilly-dallying that our ceremony was crap and that they didn't like our program we were still quite happy. We were only given a couple of days to practice for the ceremony so it's not surprising if we were not able to perfect it. Atleast we know in ourselves that we really exerted effort in that event and that we really shed sweat and blood (well, not literally) for us to have a decent capping and pinning program.

To the officers who planned the event, two thumbs up for al lyour hard work! And to all my ARCHELOQUENCE '09 batchmates, congratulations!
