Almost got ROBBED!

Yesterday when I was walking on my way home at EDSA, a pretty lady called me. I didn't know her so I ignored her at first but then when she called me again I looked back. She calmly walked towards me and told me that another lady was trying to open up my backpack while I was walking. I quickly looked at my bag and goodness it was really open! Thanked God He sent someone to warn me about that robber. I'm forever grateful to whoever that person who warned me is. If it was not for her I probably had lose my phone and my wallet that contains some pretty important stuff. From this moment on I promised not to walk in EDSA with my thoughts afar ever again.

A night with HUMID

Last April 28, 2008, Humid, a band that is composed of my fellow batchmates in Manila Adventist College and one of our clinical instructors, performed at the graduation of the interns at Angelo King. I was kind of lucky since they allowed me to accompany them in the event. I started watching their practice a couple of days before their performance and I really enjoyed listening to their music.

Humid's music is more of acoustic and RnB and also a little pop. They are composed of seven members, three vocalists and four instrumentalists. Hopefully during their next gig (kuno) I'll be able to watch them again. XD

Back Again

Oh my ghulay! Why oh why did it took me only until now bago ako naka-post ulit?! *sighs*

I've been really busy with school work lately and I was not able to post in this blog for months but guess what? I'm back! I'm not sure though if I'm really back for good. Hehe... Hopefully right after my community immersion at Naic, Cavite I'll be blogging regularly again to share to you guys some of my misadventures and etc.

So what have been up to these passed few months? Well I've been on duty in the hospital and in some of my school's outside affiliations as usual. I've also been to the Philippine Orthopedic Center last January of 2008. I spent my Christmas here in Pasay with my family and we went to several carnivals during the holidays. We also had the Intramurals at school a week before my old block's case presentation last February and man, it was such a pain the neck! Imagine, I and one of my blockmates had to practice for the cheerleading competition during the morning and do our presentation at night. I was not able to have enough sleep for almost a week back then. Anyway, all our hardships paid off naman. Our batch won first place in the cheerleading competition and we were also able to somehow impress our panelists during our block's case presentation. I also worked in the encoding department of our school for three days during the summer enrollment last April and I haven't claimed my wage even until now (I'll probably get it next week.. Hopefully...). Also last April I helped out Jeanine for a couple of days in her photography exhibit and spent a little time with some of my fellow gaidens. I also attended a couple of conventions which pictures I haven't posted in multiply yet. And that's about it! XD

I'll be posting again soon. Promise! That's it for now! Ja, matte!
